Brian Fredrick Schlittler
R.I.P. ~ 4-22-1981 to 11-29-2006
"You are greatly missed and will always be remembered.
"

The Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity is deeply saddened to announce the tragic loss of Brother Brian Schlittler, a 2005 initiate of Zeta Phi Chapter at the University of Missouri of St. Louis.
Brother Schlittler, a 25-year-old senior, died in an early morning fire on November 29 that destroyed the 76-year-old Zeta Phi chapter house. Two other chapter members were fortunate to escape the blaze.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this young man and to his fellow chapter brothers. It is indeed devastating that such a promising young life has been taken from us so quickly," commented Executive Director Justin Buck.

The Headquarters dispatched staff members to St. Louis to help support the chapter's 40-plus members as they cope with this tragedy. Many area alumni are already assisting the chapter. Alumnus Doug Haldeman, Zeta Phi '91, has established a blog with more details on this incident. If you would like to share a thought or story about Brian here is a blog for Brian.
